Concealed air-conditioning assembly
Technical review proposal

For Saad, Beirut. A practical way to determine why the modified assembly is underperforming and whether it can be progressed toward a repeatable product.

What this proposal is, and is not

The initial guided measurement form is complimentary. A paid technical review is available after Saad shares the observations, we agree the scope in writing, and the review fee is paid. This is not a diagnosis, installation approval, refrigerant-service instruction, manufacturing order or signed contract.

01 · Our understanding so far

Reported build

Concealed wall installation approximately 85 × 16 × 60 cm. A TCL plastic fan is described before the cooling coil and an additional EC tangential fan after it. The precise dimensions, flow direction, model and controls need confirmation.

Reported issue

Freezing in the rear pipe/coil region, as relayed firsthand by Sid from the call before the available recording began. Saad also described the two-fan setup as costly and not working as expected.

Source: 5 Nov 2026 call transcript plus Sid's supplemental account. Causes remain hypotheses. Potential contributors include airflow restriction or recirculation, fan-control behaviour, drainage, refrigerant conditions and sensors. Refrigerant-specific checks require a qualified HVAC professional.

02 · The first step costs nothing

  1. Saad completes the guided observation sheetOnly accessible, non-invasive observations; no compulsory meter and no system operation if freezing or unsafe. Existing photos/videos can be shared by restricted cloud link.
  2. He reviews, downloads and emails the reportThe browser never emails or uploads his readings. Saad attaches the downloaded HTML report to an email to sid@techmcadvisory.com.
  3. TechMC checks completeness and proposes the signed scopeWe identify which questions can be answered from the available evidence, any need for a local HVAC professional, and the planned review deliverables. This initial intake is not a free full engineering analysis.
Safety gate. If the coil or piping is currently iced, stop cooling. No panel-off operation exposing live wiring or rotating fans, no refrigerant handling, and no contact with an energized appliance.

03 · Technical review: US $290

$290

Fixed review fee, subject to acceptance of written scope and invoice. Initial test collection remains free.

Illustrative diagnostic review deliverables

  • Technical assessment of supplied observations and system arrangement.
  • Ranked, evidence-backed causes and unresolved questions.
  • Air path, grille and two-fan interaction review.
  • Concept-level corrective options and a safe verification plan.
  • Written report and 45-minute results walkthrough.

Scope confirmation: This AC-specific diagnostic scope adapts the published $290 Manufacturing Readiness Review price; any formal 1,000/5,000-unit BOM, 2–3 factory quotes, as-built redesign, control-board design, on-site testing or certified HVAC work must be expressly included in the signed scope or quoted separately. The website's general offer is not automatically an HVAC commissioning commitment.

Fee-credit rule

If Saad later commissions manufacturing advisory through TechMC, the $290 technical review fee will be credited against TechMC's buyer-side manufacturing commission under the subsequent written agreement. This is not a discount on a factory's price, third-party inspection, freight, taxes, or non-TechMC fees. A credit cannot exceed the commission due unless separately agreed.

04 · Optional services after the review

Service / stageTypical outputsCommercial basis
Engineering redesign / prototypeAirflow path or housing modifications, fan/control options, physical prototype, agreed test plan. Only where feasible and safe.Scope and quotation after review
Control board / IoTCustom control logic, PCB/firmware or monitoring, validated against agreed design and safety requirements.Quoted separately by SidLabs
Manufacturing readinessDFM, sourcing strategy, BOM/cost comparison, selected vetted factory quotes, NNN and IP-controlled file sharing.Written scoped offer
First production batchSupplier management, milestones, golden sample and independent pre-shipment inspection where agreed.Published introductory buyer-side commission: 2% of first order, subject to written agreement. Manufacturer's separate fee may also apply.
Safety / HVAC validationOEM compatibility, refrigerant/electrical/installation regulatory review and any certification work.Qualified local specialists; excluded until expressly scoped

Indicative services only; no manufacturing schedule, compliance certification, volume, savings, supplier selection or final costs are guaranteed by this proposal.

05 · Confidentiality and IP protection

Before any protected files

We first agree a mutual NDA or suitable agreement. Where a factory will receive confidential information, TechMC's published process calls for an appropriate NNN, controlled file sharing and limited disclosure. Ownership of Saad's original designs remains with Saad.

What to send now

Measurements, plain-language observations and non-confidential photos through restricted cloud links. Do not send private CAD, PCB files, patent drafts, third-party client information or other trade secrets with the initial report.

The static capture page does not upload form answers. Sending the report by email and granting cloud access are Saad's own actions. Email providers, cloud providers and the website host may process metadata, including technical access logs. No blanket secrecy or IP protection applies without the relevant signed agreement.

06 · Acceptance and payment workflow

  1. Indicate interestSaad can choose “Yes, send the agreement and payment instructions” in the guided form, or email Sid directly. This is a request, not purchase acceptance.
  2. Agree on the scopeTechMC sends the written agreement, exact deliverables, permitted technical information, fees, schedule and applicable confidentiality terms.
  3. Pay against the agreed arrangementOnly after the agreement and correct payee have been verified, Saad may use the invoice/payment route provided by TechMC. A user-supplied Razorpay link is available below as an optional convenience, not proof of payment or a binding order.
  4. Start the reviewThe work begins once agreed inputs, signed documentation and confirmed payment are received. Timing is confirmed in the agreement.
Optional payment reference provided by TechMC owner: razorpay.me/@sidlabsonlinellp. The destination/payee could not be independently verified for this build. Saad should confirm the payee is SidLabs Online LLP and receive the correct invoice/agreement from TechMC before paying. Do not enter payment information into this HTML page.
